The thesis is completed mainly by analysis of documents. According to the purpose of the thesis mentioned above, the conclusions of this study could be summarized as: 1. The profiles of leisure activities of traditional festivals are New-year, religion, and agriculture and be subdivided as 9 traditional festivals and 58 items of leisure activities. 2. The types of leisure activities of traditional festivals could be concluded as pleasantness, challenge and normality. 3. The significance of leisure activities of traditional festivals can be explained from perspective, social, religious, and artistic aspects, and the social functions of that include: the unionization of families and interaction between people, outlet for feelings and balance of physical and mentality, conformity of the groups and formation of the social consciousness, finally exaltation of ethical spirit and stabilization of social culture. 4. The traits of leisure activities of traditional festivals could be counted as: sequence of seasons, challenge, commemoration, religiousness, gregariousness, pray and expectation, normality, diversity. Next, the psychological analysis for festivals covers aspects such as god and ancestor worship, escape from ghost and evil, pray for clement weather and abundant harvest, emphasis on family affection and cooperation of community, and at last pursuit for personal happiness.
