This was a qualitative study, and data were collected by in-depth interviews and observations. The participants were around 18-29 year-old youths who have used MDMA. Based on the interpretation, analysis, and induction of the data, the main findings of the study were summarized as follows: 1.The factors which induce youths to use MDMA were personality, peer group, and night club. 2.The positive effects of MDMA increased the MDMA using behavior, and negative effects facilitated risk perceptions of using MDMA among youths. 3.The youths using MDMA would not realize the harm of MDMA until they suffered from it. 4.The youths using MDMA adopted coping strategies to combat the negative effects of MDMA. 5.The youths using MDMA had cost-benefit philosophy of their own. 6.Most of the participants regarded MDMA as a positive leisure drug, and all of them would continue MDMA using behavior in the future. 7.The youths using MDMA wished to decrease the risk of using MDMA by legalizing of MDMA.
