By comparing the theoretical sediment transport with the ones which are got from the hydrological records before and after Chi-chi 921 great earthquake, the mechanism and factors of earthquake on the effects of river sediment transport are discussed, meanwhile the magnitude of increment about sediment product on Da-An River is insignificant. Substituting annual mean discharge after Chi-chi 921 great earthquake, the scale of the increment on the sediment product within the Da-An River basin is only about 10﹪. The ratio of sub-basin area with power index in 2/3 is used to find the relative discharge In order to obtain the virtual sediment transport for whole river catchment.
