To know the perception on school intellectual capital situation of elementary school teachers who came from different background. Based upon the conclusions, this study proposed concrete recommendations for educational administration agencies and further research. Utilizing the reviews of related literatures on intellectual capital to know the measurement and category of intellectual capital, and then to discuss the measurement and category of school intellectual capital. The instrument of this study was “the questionnaire of the perception on school intellectual capital situation of elementary school teachers.” The samples consisted of 1000 elementary school teachers (with 66.5% return rates).After discarding ineffective samples, there are 606 effective samples。The data obtained were analyzed by t-test and one-way ANOVA。 The major conclusions were summarized as following 1、 The perception on school intellectual capital situation of elementary school teachers was good. The perception on human capital, structure capital and customer capital of elementary school teachers was good. 2、 In “level of education” aspect, there was significant difference on customer capital. The elementary school teachers who graduated from university were the lowest. 3、 In “seniority” aspect, there was significant difference on structure capital. The elementary school teachers who worked over 21 years were the highest. 4、 In “job” aspect, there was significant difference on school intellectual capital. The elementary school teachers who served director concurrently were the highest. In “job” aspect, there was significant difference on customer capital. The elementary school teachers who served director concurrently were the highest. 5、 In “school location” aspect, there was significant difference on school intellectual capital. The elementary school teachers who served in provincial county were the highest. In “school location” aspect, there was significant difference on human capital, structure capital and customer capital.
