Choride, have been prepared. The crystal structure of these one complexe has been determined by X-ray diffraction.
The cobalt(Ⅲ) complex, [CoCl2(isocyclam)](ClO4) has been prepared from CoCl2 as well as Na3[Co(CO3)3] with isocyclam and subsequent treatment with concentrated hydrochloric acid. The aquation
kinetics of [CoCl2(isocyclam)](ClO4) has been studied over a temperature range and activation parameters determined. The results indicate a dissociative activation with retention of configuration. Consequently the values of kaq, △H┿ and△S┿ for the aquation reaction.
