For the driving situation, virtual reality is a well-applied technique to simulate the driving condition. With the integration of several hardware equipments and logic design of software, a virtual environment which is in possession of driver’s cognitive modes and the reality is developed. This is the first driving simulator being applied in training the skill of parking vehicles. By the results of the experiment, novices can significantly increase their driving performance via the VR training. Afterwards, some discussions and suggestions for experiment and simulator design may provide principles in future development. In the conclusion, contributions and limitations of the research and future works are described. In the future, it is worth studying the combination of different control modules to develop more powerful and realistic simulators in the virtual reality or the real world.
