Summary:碩士 === 臺中師範學院 === 特殊教育與輔助科技研究所 === 92 === The purposes of the study were to examine the effectiveness of the multimedia-video prompt delay strategy on functional vocabulary learning for two elementary school students with severe mental retardation. This study used the multiple probe design across conditions of single subject experimental design. This study included three pairs of functional vocabulary to learn, and each vocabulary was taped as video for illustrating to students. The main conclusions of the study are: 1.The outcome of their learning indicated that both of them could read these three pairs vocabulary and generalize to other scripts. 2.Suitable situational video which illustrate vocabulary could facilitate the students’ abilities to comprehension and expression. 3. All of the teachers who taught the two students thought this course can help students’ community life. Teachers also thought that students like this course and feel confident from the course. And teachers would like to use this course to teach students to learn vocabulary under assistance.
