The target group was based on the third grade students among 24 public and private high school and vocational schools, using PPS (probability proportional sampling) method. The data collection was based on structural questionnaire method, and there were 612 valid samples, which were then analyzed by SPSS for Windows 11.0. The following results were made: 1.The target group was around 17.38 years old in average; the average score was 131.3 in terms of overall scaling table. The highest score fell on interpersonal support behavior, followed by life appreciation behavior, then nutrition behavior, stress management behavior, health responsibility behavior, and the lowest score was on exercise behavior. 2.The health concepts and self-perceived health status of the subjects had a positive correlation with health promotion life-style. 3.The result indicated that these following factors did show significant differences in health promotion life-style: the gender, body mass index, health concepts, self-perceived health status, schooling system, source of health information, seniority ranking within the family, parents education background and health conditions. 4.It was realized through hierarchical multiple regression analysis that health concepts, self-perceived health status, academic performances and father’s education background could explain to 30.1% total variance in health promotion life-style. Among these four factors, the health concepts and self-perceived health status have the biggest influence. 5.It was realized through two-way ANOVA analysis that among the variables, which had an impact to the final score of health promotion life-style, “father’s education background” and “ self-perceived health status” showed obvious interaction, so did “gender” and “ self-perceived health status” within interpersonal support and stress management behaviors. The “schooling system” and “health concepts” also showed obvious interaction within exercise behaviors. 6.While conducting health promotion life-style improving activities, the management staff should start from health concepts and self-perceived health status among those psychological factors; also, the research conclusions could serve as a reference for future health education and activities planning within the school.
