| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 農企業管理系 === 92 === The purpose of this study is to explore participating motivation and cognition of public benefits of forest planting of private landlord at Pingtung County. Statistical methods employed are frequency distribution, factor analysis, ANOVA , cluster analysis , and χ2 test. The findings in this paper are as follows :
1. The results shows that 65% private landlords are aware of forest planting policy and that 63% are willing to participate forest planting.
2. Only 44% private landlords recognize that forest planting can create external benefits, such as soil and water preservation, recreation and entertainment, ecological preservation, forest production, maintenance of land structure and benefit for national health.
3. Results reveal that the major factors of participating motivation are social and achievement, safety and security, survival, and economic interest.
4. Analysis reveals that the samples could be segmented into four clusters: survival and interest orientation cluster, security and interest orientation cluster, social and achievement orientation cluster , and survival , social and achievement orientation cluster.
5. There is exists significant difference for security and interest clusters with reference to cognition of public benefits.
6. There are significant relationships among clusters with respect to variables of education and township.
