Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 92 === The LCD was first applied to the electronic computer and the electronic clock and watch in early 1970s. Subsequently, owing to the improvement of the drive technique and the discovery of lots of new photoelectric effects, the LCD becomes lighter, thinner and smaller and is applied widely to various kinds of elements needing screens. Monitors are the important interface between information delivery and communication in this information age, therefore, the test of diversified optical properties of monitors becomes more and more important. This thesis intends to employ LabVIEW software to work with CCD and Image Acquisition Card and test lighter defects, darker defects, hue, color saturation (CIE 1931 chromaticity X/Y) and luminance program in both horizontal and vertical direction of the TFT-LCD, and the process used in the TFT-LCD inspection.
