For harbor structure, the inspection system is lacking. The only inspection table sets known so far for harbor structure safety was developed by CPC Youn-Ann harbor plant in 2003. These table sets basically employed D.E.R. method. However, many defects were found when using, like some nondestructive testing (NDT) items were included and certain descriptions of structure parts were not clear. Moreover, some grade criterions in the D value were ambiguous, or its description was not in tune with the damage condition of structure parts. As a result, the inspectors suffered many difficulties when using these table sets. Therefore, the study is to improve the inspection table sets to be more suitable for eyewitness inspection. Some NDT techniques for RC structure are also introduced. The aim is to establish a more complete safety inspection system for harbor RC structure. The content of the improved table sets basically includes all the types of harbor structure like breakwater and wharf. The inspection items of structure parts are lined with the section of structure from top down, and are divided into inside and outside, or upper or beneath water-level if necessary for practical. Hopefully, it makes the inspector be easy to accomplish the inspecting work and the inspection results be clear and reflect the real situation of structure.
