To develop teaching pattern of the visual art instruction using catoons and comics as themes. 3. To make suggestion of the visual art instruction using cartoons and comics as themes. In order to realize the purpose of the study , related documents are collected and carry on the action research method . According to the analysis of the consequence, the conclusion is as the following: 1. The discussion of the theories about the visual art instruction using cartoons and comics as themes:first, based on the principle of postmodenism , the visual art instruction in the future should be plural and wide-open . It contains appropriate balance on popular culture and fine art. It appreciates beauty and creation ,ideas and skills,art and science,as well as appreciate and creation;second, according to the theory of constructionism , students construct knowledge actively ; third,school-based curriculum development satisfies students’ learning need and helps teachers to solve problems . Finally , the curriculum is improved. 2. The implementation and examination on the visual art instruction using cartoons and comics as themes : first , the principle of the curriculum design puts emphasis on the important relating documents teaching and design. To provoke students’ creation ;second, the content and design of the teaching material should be correspondent to students’ cognition and experience ; thirdthe instruction attracts students to learn and provides opportunity for students’ creation ; fourth , most students have great expression in learning the instruction using cartoons and comics as themes . They desire to learn . 3. The teaching pattern of the visual art instruction using cartoons and comics as themes:first, the whole research follows the teaching goal and consults the relating document to estimate the teaching before carrying on the research ; second , after making the teaching plan , the researcher chooses the target and place ; third , implementing the teaching activities and evaluating students’ learning performance . Therefore , the following recommendation derived from the research is established: 1. Teaching design:first , teachers should choose the cartoons and comics, which is valuable and plural to teach students for arousing their motivation ; second , the teachers should consider every condition and cooperate to research for students’ learning need ; third ,according to the students’ abilities and experience , the curriclum designer should understand the learning concept and skills to design the material for students. 2. Teaching Implementation:first , teachers should make appropriate arrangements about teaching tactics , curriculum design and evaluation ; second , teachers should evaluate students’ learning objectively ;thirdly , according to students’ learning ,teachers should check teaching tactics and time ;fourth , teachers should use the TV equipments and intelnet well to teach visual art instruction. 3. Future Research:first , visual art teachers should be encouraged to teach the instruction using cartoons and comics as themes; second , to expand the grade rage; third , teachers should try the instructions , which combine creation with computer and cartoons. 黃壬來 2003 學位論文 ; thesis 262 zh-TW
