The purpose of this study was to examine self-awareness, career-awareness and their correlated factors of elementary school students. The study used “Children Self-Awareness Inventory”, ”Children Career-Awareness Inventory”, “ Father-Child Career Interaction Relationship Inventory”, and “Mother-Child Career Interaction Relationship Inventory” by the author as the survey tools to investigate the subjects’ basic information. The data obtained was analyzed by descriptive statistics, One-Way MANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, canonical correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. The main findings of the study were as follows: 1. Most of elementary school students performed above average level on Children Self-Awareness Inventory, Children Career-Awareness Inventory, Father-Child Career Interaction Relationship Inventory, and Mother-Child Career Interaction Relationship Inventory. 2. The differences between 3rd and 6th students of elementary schools were statistically significant in terms of overall self-awareness, overall career- awareness, self-responsibility, self-exploration, knowledge of working world, and judgment of values of working world. 3. The differences between boys and girls were statistically significant in terms of overall self-awareness, overall career-awareness, self-values, self-responsibility, and self- exploration, knowledge of working world, and exploration of working world. 4. The differences among birth order were statistically significant in terms of overall career-awareness, but not statistically significant in terms of levels of career-awareness. 5. The differences among family socioeconomic status were statistically significant in terms of overall career-awareness and knowledge of working world. 6. There was a significant positive correlation between parent-child career interaction relationship and children’s self-awareness and career-awareness. 7..Mother-child career interaction relationship and father-child career interaction relationship could be used to predict significantly children’s self-awareness. 8. Mother-child career interaction relationship, father-child career interaction relationship, grade, birth order, and gender could be used to predict significantly children’s career- awareness.
