The materials collected were analyzed and rewritten to explore what kind of strategies that counselors used to adjust and cope with powerlessness which caused during the process of counseling. The researcher also tried to analyze results and obtained insights and comprehension from participant experiences. The common topics appeared in those experiences had been unified, rearranged and restructured to show and restore the nature of counselors’ powerlessness in counseling and adjustment and coping experiences clearly. We found that there did emerge some common topics from participants during their process of consultation and counseling in practice, which about factors of making choices in consultation works and workplaces, timing of powerlessness happened in counseling during different developmental stages, the sources of powerlessness, the comparisons and analyses in characteristics of mind and body when powerlessness emerged, timing of adjustment and coping with powerlessness, strategies of adjustment and coping with powerlessness in different time. Regarding insights and self-examination from the results, the researcher not only consider the nature of consultation from the experiences of powerlessness and extend the topics to her personal meaning and values, but also presented some limits of the research and recommendations for the relative researches in the future.
