Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東師範學院 === 音樂教育學系碩士班 === 92 === Abstract The major purpose of this study was to investigate the viewpoints of the elementary school choral directors in Kaohsiung-Pingtung region about their satisfaction of teaching professional accomplishments, and the consideration factors of repertoire selection. It also investigated the relationship between those two variations and the directors'' relative background. The secondary purpose was to understand the directors’ demands about choral teaching information provided by the press in music score, and the score searching items provided by choral repertoire classified data base. The study was utilized by survey method. The instrument was a self-designed questionnaire. Use the simple random sampling to choose 174 samples. There were 145 effective questionnaires. The recover rate achieved 83.3 percent. The major findings were as the follows: 1.For teaching professional accomplishments, the directors were mostly satisfied with their teaching skill of basic music knowledge, and desire of in-service study. The satisfaction with curriculum integration ability was lower. Generally, they were not satisfied with their arrangement ability for choral music. 2.For repertoire selecting considerations, the directors mostly considered the singable degree of melody, but less considered the coordination in curriculum and the tonality and mode of songs. 3.The directors’ choral teaching accomplishments and choral study background achieved positive relationship, but inter-school choral competition repertoires considerations and choral teaching experience achieved partly negative relationship. 4.The directors’ highest three demands of the teaching relative information provided in music score were music analysis、composing motives and teaching suggestion. 5.The directors’ thoughts of the three most convenient items to search in the choral repertoire classified data base were vocal parts、difficulty level and voicing structure. According to the research results, the researcher made several suggestions to education administration units, teacher training institutions, school administration personnel, choral directors, repertoire press and future study for the references of popularizing the choral education and enriching directors’ teaching accomplishments.
