Abstract
The purpose of this study was to detect the biochlmical physiological variables changes following the various training programs of Tug-of war in elementary school students. Those through scientific experimentation, we analyzed the relationship among the following variables: the concentration of lactate dehydrogenase(LDH), creatine kinase-MB(CKMB),and Glucose. Besides, endocrine hormen indexes included: Cortisol, Thyroxin 4(T4)and testosterone.
There were 40 subjects took part in this study divided into two groups. 20 of them were from a physical class and 20 of them were from an ordinary class. Following three-month various exercise training programs for tug of war, we analyzed the data to determine whether the physio-biochemical indexes differ for pre-,mid-and post measures significally. Also, we explored if their hormines responses changed significantly after the tug of war training.
The results of the study were shown as follows:
1. After the full-strength tug of war, the level of glucose falls significantly(p<.05); CKMB concentration increased significantly.(p<.05)
2. After three months’ training programs, when the tug of war was finished, the level of glucose after 45-sec High-intensity tug of war falls where as CKMB, T4 and testosterone increased.
3. After receiving three months’ training programs, the level of glucose, CKMB and LDH fall whereas cortisol and testosterone rise first and then fall later.
The results of this study indicated children’s physio-biochemical variables changed after the tug of war and help them adapt to the acute exercise through various training programs.
From a point view, both of LDH and CKMB variables were changed by three-month exercise training program and following 45-sec high intensety exercising. Then we concluded that except for the traditional endurance trainings, the physical fitness training, including sit-ups, inter-jumping, and push-ups can help competitors adapted to the acute exercise and reduce injury to their myocardium.
