This study was analyzed through qualitative research design and examined its workability. The subjects of this research were seven fourth-grade children from divorced families in Kaohsiung city. This research was conducted for ten weeks, once a week, and each time for fifty minutes. The subjects were interviewed with sentence-completion sheet designed by the researcher and Chinese Health Questionnaire(CHQ) was also used for understanding the subjects’ situation of mental health before and after the group counseling . Interviews with these children and their teachers as well as the researcher’s observations were provided for further discussion. The main findings were as followed: 1. Group counseling had positive effects on single-parent children in cognition, emotion, and behaviors. 2. With following meetings and individual interviews, group counseling had continuous effects on single-parent children for the next five months after the program was implemented. 3. Both the single-parent children and their teachers held positive views toward joining this group counseling program. 4. This group counseling program was suitable for children of forth grades from divorced families for it was well structured and plenty of instrumentalities were used. 5. This study was completed through qualitative research design, and therefore it could reflect a more complete process and results of the group counseling . Based on the findings above, suggestions for carrying out this research of group counseling and further study were also discussed. 陳慶福 黃玫瑰 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 142 zh-TW |
