Description
Summary:博士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 輔導研究所 === 92 === Abstract The purpose of this study was to construct At-Risk Assessment Scale (ARAS) for adolescents and to establish its norm. The participants of this study were adolescents, a tryout sample (n=529), a norm sample (n=1306), a dropout sample (n=125), a juvenile delinquent sample (n=135), a drug abuse sample (n=81), and a depressive sample (n=71). The data collected were analyzed through item analysis, MANOVA, confirmatory factor analysis, and discriminant analysis. The results are as follows: 1.The final version of the ARAS consists of 80 items, divided into eight subscales using the Likert five-point Scale. 2.Reliability studies of the eight subscales of ARAS have yielded Cronbach αcoefficients ranging from .677 to .898. The test-retest reliability coefficients over a 2-week period ranging from .789 to .905, indicating substantial stability. 3.The content validity, construct validity and discriminant validity have been found to be satisfactory. 4.The norm of ARAS have percentile rank and T-score norms, whose criterion can product the meaning application. Based on the findings, the implication and suggestions are offered for reference regarding counselor education, adolescent counseling, and future research.
