Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 工業科技教育學系 === 92 === The main purpose of this study focused on exploring the living technology teachers’ teaching situation and needs in utilizing educational technology in junior high school in Tainan County. To conduct the study, a questionnaire was developed to investigate the teaching situation and needs from 47 junior high technology teachers in Tainan County. Data were collected through this questionnaire. Results of the study were based on responses received from 45 teachers, with a return rate of 96%. The results of the study include:
(1) There were audio and video classroom and computer classroom in junior high schools in Tainan County and these facilities had been used widely.(2) The main factor of living technology teachers’ choice in educational technology was the appropriateness of using educational technology in teaching contents.(3) The key factor for the living technology teacher’ needs and problems in using educational technology was “software”.(4) The effectiveness of the situation in participation and the ability in making in the research and study in educational technology were not so good as predicted.(5) The set up of educational technology facilities in the local or whole Tainan County, for the purpose of increasing the planning of educational technology resources, were the urgent key points for each junior high school in Tainan County in driving the improvement of educational technology.
According to the findings in the research, if the technology teachers could construct a multi-media learning environment for the purpose of teaching living technology, they must have more outcomes in the future.
