碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 資訊管理所 === 92 === Consistent web site interfaces are easy to learn and easy to use. Thus, the consistency of web site interface is an important issue of web site design. Even in the same industry, inconsistent web site user interface will cause problems of using the web site. The related research about Internet banking in the past is lacking of the research about the issue of interface design. Thus, this study is concern about the interface design of Internet banking. The result shows that consistency and navigation of Internet banking interface is related to Internet banking interface usability. But functionality of Internet banking is not related to Internet banking interface usability. The effect of navigation is bigger than functionality, and, the effect of external consistency is bigger than internal consistency. Thus, we suggest that the web site designer of Internet banking should improve the external consistency of the web site interface. By doing so, user satisfaction will be improved. We also find that navigation is related to efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction. So we suggest that the navigation function of internet banking is also important concern.
