The knowledge about the urban-n-rural variances among the tasking involvement of volunteer labor can also effectively integrate the resources to avoid the unnecessary wasting behaviors. The aims of this research are: 1. to know about the volunteer involvement and service situation within the Chia-yi City and County; 2. to understand the correlative factors of the volunteer involvement motives and continuous service within the Chia-yi City and County; 3: to compare the variances for the volunteer involvement s situations within the Chia-yi City and County; 4. to analyze and find out the variance cause for the volunteer involvement s situations within the Chia-yi City and County.       In order to realize the continuous involvement situations of urban-n-rural volunteers, we also investigate the possible influential causes for the continuous involvement of volunteers. Within the research, we view the personal features, involvement motives, urban-n-rural areas, the situations of volunteer involvement and management atmosphere as the variables so that we can measure the proportion of continuous involvement with the determinants of involvement desire, involvement attitudes and involvement frequency. We make the sampling from volunteers of the Xing-Ho Project within the Chia-yi City and County as the experimental subjects to collect the data by mail responding. We totally delivered 1222 questionnaires with 614 questionnaires replied with the receiving rate of 50.3%. The valid samples are 596 and the valid receiving rate is 48.8%. The data analysis methods we adopted are: descriptive analysis, confidence analysis, factor analysis, chi-square test , independent T-test, ANOVA , correlation analysis, and gradual regression analysis with the research results shown :       The volunteers within the Chia-yi City and County are mostly composed of female married housewives of high school levels with the motives of “helping others and serving for the society ” featured with condensed (regular) and longer continuous service durations.        There is no remarkable variances within the “personal involvement situations”, ”educational training” and the “autonomy control” of volunteer service within urban-n-rural volunteers. However, it comes with the obvious variances within the aspects like “work situations and assistance methods” and “welfare and incentive”. The rural volunteers will highly emphasize the harmonious social relations with the supervisors and organization experts. But, the volunteers located at the service places more adjacent to the urban regions will take more preferred consideration if there is any excellent welfares and incentive within the volunteer organization.        The possible influence onto the continuous involvement of volunteers will be “work situation and supervising method”, “autonomy control”, “continuous (regular) service duration” and “the overall family income”, together with motives like “friendship and social activity” and “traffic time”, totally 6 variables. There variables are predictable to the volunteer involvement and attitude, wherein, the most predictable variable falls on the “work situation and supervising method” within the volunteer organizations internally.        Within the category of management atmosphere, the “education and training” system, the “autonomy control”, “interest attractive or specialty exertion” , “urban-n-rural areas”, “continuous (regular) service duration”, “the influence affected by organizational propaganda ”, “welfare and incentive” and “overall family income”, totally 8 variables with the predictability to volunteer involvement desire, wherein, the “education and training” system within category of management atmosphere will the most predictable cause to volunteer involvement desire.        Knowing from the foresaid result, the reasonable and concrete regulations for volunteer organizations and tasks, the social relation of volunteer and the management will be the critical to affect the volunteer involvement attitude. Moreover, the availability and well-arranged curriculums for organizations to provide volunteers with the educational training courses will be also the key points for the favorable and informational service process from volunteer involvement in knowledge.
