Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 進修部課程與教學碩士班 === 92 === A Study of Leadership of Elementary School Curriculum in Tou Yan County: the Current Status and Related Issues   The current study aimed to investigate the current status and related issues of the curriculum leadership in elementary school within Tou Yan County, via the literature review, questionnaires as well as interviews. The primary instrument, the questionnaire designed by the researcher, was targeted on the condition and difficulties of the leadership practice in elementary-level curriculum in Tou Yan.   Through the review of literature, certain salient perspectives of theoretical foundations and research results were concluded. The questionnaires were conducted among the faculty and staff of Tou Yan elementary schools. At last, the interviews with four incumbents were employed to cross-examine the results of the investigation.   There were 739 questionnaires issued, and the recycled are 646 copies (87.4 were valid). With SPSS/10.0, statistic analysis of the available samples was done with descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe’s comparison, and multiple regression. The interview was conducted with a principal, a teacher as a director of one division, and two teachers.   The conclusions of the study are as follows: 1.The effects of curriculum leadership in Tou Yan elementary schools appear widely acknowledged by instructors, which indicates that with the enforcement of Nine Year’s Consistent Curriculum, the degree of actualization of curriculum leadership by principals and director of educational administration is high. The variable, examination and evaluation, is the only entails improvements. 2.The statistical results of teachers’ responses from six categories are dissimilar from those of principals as well as directors. 3.In elementary schools in Tou Yan County, the apects of difficulties found by teachers are different from those by principals or directors in putting curriculum leadership into real practice. 4.The effectiveness of the curriculum leadership in Tou Yan elementary schools may be better recognized by female teachers, and those who with administrative duties or better academic backgrounds. 5.In regarding of the status of curriculum leadership, in Tou Yan elementary schools, teachers over forty years old, those who only teach one subject, and teachers in smaller schools hold more positive attitude; to wit, these variables within this aspect are to a signigicant level. Nevertheless, the variable, "years of teaching," does not appear significant. 6.The variable, "individual background," can successfully predict the performance of "the over status." Moreover, as for the analysis of prediction, the variable, "duty," makes better prediction on other variables than "school scale." In light of the results of the study, it is hoped that some suggestions and implications are provided for educational administrations, scholastic institutes and further research.
