Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹師範學院 === 數理教育碩士班自然組 === 92 === bstract There were three purposes for this study. One was to investigate the misconception of the evaporation, condensation and boil of water among 4th, 5th and 6th graders in Hsinwu County. Another was to study the relationship between the misconception and the occupations of pupils’ parents and to find the relationship between the misconception and the pupils’ grades. The third was to build up a pupils’ mental model. A questionnaire with 8 items was conducted to 292 pupils. Among those pupils, 24 pupils were selected to study their metal model by using semi-constructive interview. The main results and suggestions were summarized as the following: 1.Although most of the pupils could use the words “evaporation” and “condensation”, they had plenty of misconception. 2.Only two of the eight questions showed significant difference regarding pupils’ grades. It revealed that misconceptions existed in higher grade pupils as well as lower grade pupils. 3.Only one of the eight questions showed significant difference between pupils with labor and non-labor parents. It revealed that misconceptions had no relation with the occupations of pupils’ parents. 4.In metal process, high-achievement pupils could use more correct concepts to answer questions than low-achievement pupils. 5.Pupils who could achieve the target of the questions might still have misconception.
