| Summary: | 碩士 === 國防管理學院 === 國防資訊研究所 === 92 === XML has became one of the important research topics up to date because it allows user to define his/her own syntactic tags, which can be used to clearly express data structure and the meanings of document and to enable users and computers to understand the intrinsic of data. In addition, the definition of XML syntax is very strict. Each XML document is not valid until it is verified using DTD or Schema. Therefore, the strict syntactic structure is helpful for document management, application, and exchange.
However, designing a flexible and feasible Schema for XML documents is a burden work. To solve the problem, this paper proposed to combine Delphi 6.0 and SQL Server 2000 to develop an Interface for generating XML Schema, and used XSD (XML Schema Definition) to valid the structure of an XML document. It shown that the proposed Interface saves much of time and manpower when design an XML Schema.
