The image filter is required to suppress image frequency, which is ahead of the mixer. To solve the image problem,it needs the proper choose of LO and RF in consideration of the image frequency or high quality factor of filter. Inductor dominates the RF circuit performance. In this thesis,all of circuits design used the active inductor in place of spiral inductor. The active inductor have the smaller area,higher quality factor and tunable inductance than spiral inductor. Furthermore,they don’t demand for extra active compensation circuitry and can immediately obtain better performance. In the thesis,we present three kind of circuits using active load. Simulation the proposed circuits by tsmc 0.18um Mixed Signal CMOS process. And the simulation results show the all the circuits have good performance.
