Summary: | 碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 國民教育研究所 === 92 === The purposes of this research were to study the influences of meditation on the first grade elementary school students to be single-minded, emotion and self-control that related to learning effects. The action research method was adopted. The subjects were 24 first grade elementary school students. Questionnaire, interview, observation and drawing a picture after meditation were used to collect the response of the subjects after practicing meditation. The subjects practiced meditation conducted by the researcher 20 minutes per day, 5 days per week, and the total practicing period was 4 months. The results revealed as following, the first, about to be single-minded: meditation made the subjects be clear-minded, look at the blackboard very clear, be able to memorize something easily, the forgot answers would occur to, write attentively, be earnest, be clear about attending instruction; the second, about pupil’s emotion: feeling the mood to be relaxed, perceiving happiness, comfort, quiet, enriching the imaginative power, less being tired, but being more willing to do homework, thinking to help others, caring animals, being more polite, thanking teachers, sweeping and cleaning up actively, being more willing to do the family affairs; the third, about self-control: promoting the ability of self-control, such as less losing one’s temper, less talking, but being more patient and stable.
