At first, the study collected data of 101 tryout subjects, to carry out the item analysis of this test and to delete the items that have poor difficulty and discrimination values. Then, the subjects of 422 fifth and sixth graders took the Computer-Based Test of Visual Art Concepts, and the reliability and the validity were examined. Also, the data of 422 subjects were collected to investigate the learning of the visual art concepts among fifth and sixth graders, and to analyze the subjects’ perceptions of this test. Through the procedure of data collecting and statistical analysis showed above, the findings of this study are as follows: 1.The “Computer-Based Test of Visual Art Concepts for Fifth and Sixth Graders” has sound reliability and validity. The reliability testing consists both of the coefficient of internal consistency and the test-retest reliability. The validity testing includes the specialist validity, content validity, discriminant validity, and construct validity. 2.There is a significant statistical difference between art-gifted students and regular students on the average score of this test. This result also indicates the practical value for application due to its medium effect size. 3.There is no significant statistical difference between sixth graders and fifth graders on the average score of this test. Also, it has a small effect size. 4.There is a significant statistical difference between female students and male students on the average score of this test. This result also indicates the practical value for application due to its medium effect size. 5.There is a significant statistical difference between those who ever attend a after-school art class and those who never attend any after-school art class on the average score of this test. This result also indicates the practical value for application due to its medium effect size. 6. Fifth and Sixth Graders’ perceptions of the “Computer-Based Test of Visual Art Concepts for Fifth and Sixth Graders” is positive. 李茂能 劉豐榮 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 123 zh-TW |
