碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 商業教育學系 === 92 === A Study of Leisure Activities Among National Senior High School Teachers in Central Taiwan Advisor：Tsong-Wen Chen Author：Chih-Hsin Wu Abstract This study aims to investigate the leisure activities of national senior high school teachers in Central Taiwan ( Taichung County, Taichung City, Chan Hua County, Nan tou County and Win lin County). This study was conducted by collecting questionnaires. Total questionnaires collected were 725 in number, in which 580 questionnaires were effective. The percentage of effective questionnaires collected was 80 percent. Collected data was analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, t-test, one-factor analysis of variance, and correlative analysis. Through analysis, the major findings of this study were as follows： 1. National senior high school teachers show a high participation and preference for leisure activities in general. 2. The leisure activities that national senior high school teachers take part in most frequently and are most interested in is“ knowledge activities”; the least frequently taken type is “artistic activities”. 3. The leisure activity that national senior high school teachers take part in most frequently is “reading newspapers and magazines”; the least frequently taken activity is “taking part in chorus group”. 4. The leisure activity that national senior high school teachers are most interested in is “reading newspapers and magazines”; their least interested activity is “taking part in chorus group”. 5. Their degree of preference for leisure activities is higher than that of actual participation in leisure activities. High preference and low participation is shown in such activities as “physical activities”, “fitness”, “swimming”, “dancing”, “listening to music”, “photographing”, and“social service”. 6. National senior high school teachers show high psychological demands for leisure activities in general. The most cherished leisure demand is “health demand”; the least cherished demand is “growth demand”. 7. National senior high school teachers vary in their degree of participation in leisure activities due to different factors, such as “sex”, “age”, “service years”, “positions”, and “the scale of school”. 8. National senior high school teachers vary in their degree of preference for leisure activities due to different factors, such as “sex”, “age”, “service years”, and“positions”. 9. National senior high school teachers vary in their degree of psychological demands for leisure activities due to different factors, such as “sex”, “positions”, and “school types”.
