The study was conducted by the means of questionnaires. With compiling the responses from teachers, the result reflects needs and satisfaction in the current resource program among variables due to individuals. The respondents were limited in the area of central Taiwan, including Taichung County, Taichung City, Changhua County, Nantou County, Yunlin County. The research tool, questionnaire called “ Questionnaire for teachers in elementary schools in the resource program for students with hearing impairment in inclusive setting.” There were 221 questionnaires that stands for 71.1% response rate. T-test and one-way ANOVA were used to process and analyze the collected datas. The results and the conclusions are elaborated as follows: First, teachers in elementary school consider the need for the resource program is in the degree of need to truly need, and their satisfaction with the resource program for students with hearing impairment is in the degree of normal. Second, the differences between teachers’ needs and satisfaction were significant, that show teachers in elementary school consider the resource program for students with hearing impairment in inclusive setting still has lots to be improved. Third, There are significant differences in need due to individuals’ background variables, the items as follows: sex, the academic background, various school area, various class amounts of school, teachers with the experience of teaching students with hearing impairment or not, school offer the resource program or not. Fourth, There are significant differences in satisfaction due to individuals’ background variables, the items as follows: sex, various job positions, the academic background, various school area , various class amounts of school, teachers with the experience of teaching students with hearing impairment or not, school offer the resource program or not. According to the study results, suggestions were made as references to the educational administration, the school administration and correlated study in the future.
