The purpose of this study was to investigate kindergarten teacher's attitudes towards the inclusion of young children with special needs into regular kindergarten education programs as well as certain variablesthat may affect teacher's attitudes due to personal background.
A questionnaire was despend and used to survey on 250 kindergarten teacher's attitudes toward the inclusion of young children with special needs into regular kindergarten education programs. There were 217 valid questionnaires that stand for 88.4% response rate. These collected data have been processed and analyzed through t test and one-way ANOVA. The findings are summerizes follows:
1. Kindergarten teachers held generally positive attitudes towards inclusion of young children with special needs regular kindergarten education programs.
2. There have significant differences in teachers' attitudes due to personal background, such as age,education degrees, special education backgrounds. and in-service training on special education.
Based on the findings, some suggestions were provided in this study for the reference of the administer of kindergarten, kindergarten teachers and further study.
