This researcher adopted the multiple-case method which was commonly found in qualitative research. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews. First, a literature review provided a basic understanding of relative theories concerning teacher involvement in school administrative decision-making. Second, interview questions were formed according to the research objectives and literature review. Third, individual cases were selected for interviews, including 5 vocational high schools, 29 cases (1 principle, 13 department chiefs and 15 subject teachers). Verbatim transcription was made from recording after each interview. The analyses of the present situations and expectation were made according to the verbatim transcription. Finally, the researcher pointed out that the indicators of the vocational high school teachers’ administrative decision-making participation included eight dimensions: academic dimension, student affairs, guidance dimension, general affairs, practicum dimensions, personnel affairs, administration duties, and other dimensions. Among the eight dimensions, fifty items were found. Based on the conclusion of this study, the researcher proposed concrete suggestions to the educational institutes, the vocational high school teachers, and the future research. 吳天方 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW |
