Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育學系 === 92 === The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the project method on problem-solving ability and the attitude toward solving problems. This study adopted "construction technology" as the learning content for the study. Quasi-experimental design of nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group was applied in this study. The target samples included eighty-five students from the sophomore classes at National Nei-li Senior High School, with forty-three students in the experimental group and forty-two students in the control group. The instruments of this study consisted of the Problem-Solving Assessment scale the Problem-Solving Attitude Inventory, and Learning Perception Questionnaire. In addition to the mean and standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, analysis of covariance and descriptive statistics were used in this study. Major findings of this study were listed as follows: (1) The problem-solving ability of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group. Especially, the experimental group has better ability in problem perception, proposing solutions, and searching for the best solutions. (2) The project method significantly improved the problem-solving confidence of the experimental group students than that of the control group students. (3) The experimental group responded positively to the teaching of construction technology, adopting the project method.
