Then, the guidelines of the antenna design will be proposed based on the simulation results. Basically, using the traditional configuration of the printed Yagi antenna, the mid-band gain or the F/R ratio cannot be improved without scarifying the other. Therefore, at the end of the thesis, a novel reflector formed by multiple dipoles is proposed. Through simulations and measurements, it is found the proposed configuration highly improves the F/R ratio while the mid-band gain remains almost unchanged.
