Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 通訊工程研究所 === 92 === Selective mapping (SLM) peak-power reduction is distortionless as it selects the actual transmit signal from a set of alternative signals, which all represent the same information. The specific signal generation information, called side information, needs to be transmitted and carefully protected against bit errors. Here, we employ SLM in OMOAM (Orthogonal Multiplexing Orthogonal Amplitude Modulation) and OMOPM (Orthogonal Multiplexing Orthogonal Phase Modulation). Beside, we also discuss the complexity which is produced by SLM in the system, and observe the influence of PAPR(Peak to Average Power Ratio) due to the change of system parameters. Even though SLM is applicable with any modulation, we concentrate on orthogonal multiplexing orthogonal in this thesis.
