Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 土木工程研究所 === 92 === There are four stages in this research: (1) We study the effect of magnetic water on compressive strength of mortar. (2) To observe the relationship between the Hall voltage and the magnetic water variables. (3) We study the effect of magnetic water variables on Hall voltage and compressive strength of mortar. (4) We study the effect of the compressive strength of mortar mixed with magnetic water at the same Hall voltage value. The compressive strength of mortar mixed with magnetic water of 0.8 T, which could increase 10 ~ 20% more than those mixed with tap water samples. However, when the magnetic strength was less than 0.8T, it could reduce the compressive strength of mortar. Therefor, we magnetize 0.001N sodium chloride solution and 0.001N calcium hydroxide solution, which could increase the compressive strength of mortar. The trend of Hall voltage on this experiment corresponded with Hall effect theory. When Hall voltage was above 30mV, the magnetic water increased the compressive strength of mortar. If the surface tension of magnetic water was below 58 dyne/cm, it could increase compressive strength of mortar. On the other hand, when the surface tension of magnetic water was above 58 dyne/cm, it was ineffective.
