Description
Summary:博士 === 國立交通大學 === 管理科學系 === 92 === Developing countries often nurture the automobile industry as a path to technological and economic development. Initially, the government often sets up policies to protect the industry, but eventually the industry must face global competition. The process of industrial development for developing countries is complex and dynamic because the competitive strategies are included in the development process. This study analyzes the characteristics of the automobile industry in the developing countries and the structure of the industrial development systems of Taiwan to explore the system behavior by system dynamics methodology. The author proposes an evolution model to identify the structure of Taiwan’s development to clarify the survival strategies. The implications of this model are also discussed.
