Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 材料科學與工程系 === 92 === Zinc oxide nanoparticles have been successfully prepared via chemical precipitation method by mixing zinc chloride and potassium hydroxide solutions. The effects of process parameters, such as mixing temperature, concentration of the solutions and their ratios, on the particle morphology and sizes were investigated. The sizes of the prepared ZnO were estimated by x-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer-Emmet-Teller(BET) technique and laser scattering method. Particles with a size ranging from 20 to 50nm were obtained with solution concentrations: [ZnCl2]=0.1M and [KOH]=0.2M. Some metastable complex phases of ZnO were observed by XRD as the precipitated powder was heated up to 100℃. The synthesized ZnO showed photoluminescence excitation with a peak at 325nm and emission at 400nm.
