The purpose of this study was examined the leisure life cognition and participation experience in slow pitch softball players. The research design was investigation 280 players whose take part in the secondary game at December 2003 in Southern Taiwan. The questionnaire of leisure life participation and satisfaction, leisure cognitive, and participation experience was used, and effective 264 was collected. After statistic analysis, the results are following as:
1. The slow pitch softball players their leisure life frequency is the main recreation activities and the satisfaction are more than higher.
2. There are significance differences for participation frequency of leisure life cognitive in different educational system. However, there hasn’t influence from different of years of play, leisure expenditure and defense position on participation frequency of leisure life.
3. There are significance differences of leisure life cognitive in different educational system and leisure expenditure by slow pitch softball players.
4. There is not significance differences of leisure life cognitive in different years of play and defense position softball players.
5. There are significance differences of participation experience in different educational system slow pitch softball players.
6. There is not significance differences of participation experience in different years of play and defense position softball players.
7. There are significance differences of participation experience in different leisure expenditure softball players.
8. There are significance positive correlations between leisure
life cognitive and participation experience in slow pitch softball players.
According to finding, this study not only suggest to school, coach, athletic, and player parents how to planning that leisure life for athletic, but also give good advise for future researchers.
