Summary: | 碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 通訊工程研究所 === 92 === We study in this thesis the quantized power control algorithm in CDMA wireless networks. In our study, we first simulate the bang-bang power control, the distributed constrained power control (DCPC) and the fully distributed power control (FDPC) algorithms. Then we quntize the power control algorithms. For the performance comparison, we measure the root mean square (RMS) error between the signal to interference ratio (SNR) and the quality of service (QoS) requirement. From simulation results, we found that the RMS error of the DCPC algorithm with quantization is smaller than that of the bang-bang power control algorithm. We also modify the channel model that by adding the Doppler effect, and use this model to simulate the power control algorithms. Simulation results reveal some interesting characteristics about the power control algorithms in the high mobility environment.
