The results are as follows: 1.The textbooks of compulsory education in Hong Kong only introduce phonics from the first grade to the third grade in elementary school. 2.The organization of vocabulary is affected by its theme, especially close to students’ lives. And its reduplication rate assumes a parabola. 3.The difficulty of reading is affected by the length of vocabulary and the number of sentence. And the organization is based on complexity and learnability. According to the content, it is organized from easy to hard and connects the elementary school and junior high school. 4.Grammar and sentence patterns are affected by the theme, and the organization is from simple sentences to complex sentences. 5.Themes in textbooks of compulsory education in Hong Kong are practical, interesting, and close to life.
