This will inprove the reprogramming and the reconfiguration for the changed radio functions. This thesis is to design a software radio oriented digital channelizer. Owing to using the digital signal processing technology, we can reduce the size, the cost and the distortion of the channelizer. Furthermore, software radio oriented design will make the channelizer reprogrammable and reconfigurable, which can be helpful to the multi-protocol environment. In this thesis, we will finish three tasks. First, we will establish a low-complexity system architecture to reduce the complexity of circuits and the power consumption. Second, we will simulate the proposed system architecture. The simulation results can help us to modify the proposed system architecture. Finally, we will make choice of the implementation methods. After making a survey on the specifications of the DSP, FPGA and ASIC, we will find an implementation method which is software radio oriented and can meet the requirements of the speed and the power consumption.
