Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 92 === Internet-based applications are getting more and more matured. Most of those applications are requesting micropayment. In order to reduce trading efforts between a customer and thousands of application service providers, the broker raises. The AAA systems are deployed to establish the trading platform of the brokers. The current AAA systems are only support postpaid mechanisms. AAA systems are time-based and stateless. Those characteristics limit a variety of applications. We propose a prepaid micropayment mechanism with real-time accounting and disconnection under the IEEE 802.1x protocol. We adopt FreeRADIUS and HostAPD as the IEEE 802.1x testing environment, where our real-time accounting and disconnection mechanism are implemented and tested. Experiment results show that the proposed mechanism can achieve the specifications of real-time accounting and disconnection. Some of potential applications for the developed mechanism are also discussed.
