Summary:碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 中國語文學系 === 92 === ABSTRACT This essay contains five chapters. Chapter 1 is the preface where the study motive, study range and study method are mentioned. Chapter 2 is to introduce the appearance of The New Four Books in late period of Ming Dynasty. The general situation of the appearance of Yang Ming school and the true meaning of “demented person’s breadth of mind (狂者胸次) which Yang Ming school is denounced about are discussed here. Furthermore, Li Zhuo-Wu’s “heretical thought” will be explained here with proofs. Chapter 3 is to probe the issue on the true writer of The Four Books Review, and discuss new method and new viewpoint on explaining the classics. Chapter 4 is to discuss the meanings of the new explanations to The Four Books Review, and probe the writings related to The Four Books Review, such as The Keynote of The Four Books (四書眼評), Put in Pupils of the eyes in The Analects Of Confucius (論語點睛) and Encounter of The Four Books. This chapter tries to discuss the new explanation made in late Ming Dynasty with modern meaning, and also brings up a new viewpoint on gender and ethics implicated in The New Four Books of late Ming Dynasty. Here finances management is also mentioned. Besides, this chapter also introduces an elementary from the viewpoint of The Four Books which details the negotiation between the Confucianists and the Buddhists. Other issues, such as the change of the viewpoints on Principles and Profit, on Justice and Desire, as well as on Public and Private interests, etc… are mentioned here. Chapter 5 is a conclusion.
