We introduce the concept of the satellite, subsystem definition, duty demand, and functions of each part. After understanding the functions of each part, we consider about interior space, components fixed way, assembly, antenna deployment mechanism and so on. The structures that can endure the acceleration and vibration during the launch process would be designed. Then, we’ll decide an actual size of each part in the satellite. In this study, we use the computer software for design and analyze main structures of the Pico-satellite-PACE. CATIA is the CAD software that makes each part of structures from an ideal model to a visualize model. It provides assembly function by simulation. Then the model would be analyzed by the Finite Element Method to compute the stress and model shape by MSC Patran and MSC Nastran.
