Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 機械工程學系碩博士班 === 92 === Recently, environmental impacts of a product can be analyzed using traditional Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method and the result is accurate and acceptable. But it has some limitation such as it consumes much time, higher cost, and needs comprehensive information of the product to carry the evaluation out. The object being evaluated and analyzed using this LCA method are the fully developed products. It loses its effective moment in reducing the environmental impacts of the product, due to inadequate quantitative information to carry such LCA analysis during product conceptual design and initial design stages. This research presents a method for using other similar products’ LCA result integrate into an approximate curved surface for product designer to get the LCA result of products more easily during the product conceptual design stage. It can provide designer reference numbers of LCA results for the purpose of multidisciplinary optimization method, which include the optimal results by genetic algorithm and the analysis stresses and strains results by the ANSYS finite element software. Therefore, product will not lose its practicability for reducing the product environmental impacts.
