Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 都市計劃學系碩博士班 === 92 === Abstract Location effect on firm survival had been confirmed in some researches, but few researchers discuss firm survival with location directly. This paper uses a longitudinal data taken from registration to investigate location and other characteristics of firm survival. The study is concerned with whether firm survival rate is different from regions. Analysis of this data had been done with survival function, using Kaplan-Meier method to estimate survival functions of firms in regions and locations. The results show that, location has an effect on firm survival in regions and locations. Firms in industrial districts seem have shorter survival days.
