Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 系統及船舶機電工程學系碩博士班 === 92 === Abstract This research used high speed camera to take pictures of the impact process between a falling droplet and a static droplet on a solid surface. The major test variables include height and the relative impact position. The experiment used mirrors to reflect light for taking pictures, from two directions in one frame, for better observation. The results show that:(1) Whether the drops splash or not can still be predicted by Mundo’s (1995) method;(2)The impact will occasionally form a shape like bull horns. The angle between two “horns” decreases with the relative impact distance; (3)The splash pattern varies with impact energy and impact position.
