Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 系統及船舶機電工程學系碩博士班 === 92 === ABSTRACT The development and innovation of ship propulsors is a major topic in raising ship performance. However, design theory and experiment of propellers gradually become mature. Many countries proceeded to study new propulsors in order to overcome two choke points, performance and mechanical complexity of propeller. “Rim-Driven Propeller” is a creative new product in recent years. Thus, we hope to begin some related studies as soon as possible. We point at the mechanical structure transmission design and feasibility. After manufacturing, the Rim-Driven Propeller model collocate blades with hub and without hub. We carry out a simple fluid visualization experiment and observe its general characteristics.
