Besides, I also try to research and study them to understand their differences and interactions.   The main purpose of this thesis are as follows: A. To analyze the difference of teacher stress, organization commitment and school effectiveness in vocational high schools depending on different background variables. B.To discuss the relationship between teacher stress and organization commitment in the vocational high schools. C.To discuss the relationship between teacher stress and school effectiveness in the vocational high schools. D.To discuss the relationship between teachers’ organizational commitment and school effectiveness in the vocational high schools. E.According to the research findings, to make substantial suggestions to the educational authorities and schools administrators.   In the research methodology, this thesis took five vocational high schools in Tainan City as the study samples and research on the relationships among the teacher stress, commitment and school effectiveness. In thesis I apply questionnaire surveying. I issued 228 and successfully collected 211. By using the software SPSS 10.0 to process Factor Analysis, Reliability Analysis and Canonical Correlation, I managed to test the hypothesis in this thesis with these methods of statistics. A.There are apparent differences in gender and types of schools in the teacher stress. B.There are apparent differences in age, years of teaching, types of schools in the organization commitment. C.There are apparent differences in age and types of schools in the school effectiveness. D.There are apparent and negative relationships between teacher stress and organization commitment. E.There are apparent and positive relationships between teacher organization commitment and school effectiveness. F.There are apparent and negative relationships between teacher stress and school effectiveness.
