entropy to find motion objects, under the assumption that motion objects are more
important ones We then encrypt those whose entropy values are higher than a
threshold. This new technology can be applied to MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4
standards. The encrypted files conform to original MPEG file formats. This
approach only encrypts part of the multimedia data, such that it avoids additional
computing overhead, and it can reach real-time processing.
